A speakers’ staff, carried by potlatch hosts and clan leaders, is struck on the floor to announce the beginning of an oration. This staff is decorated with Eagle/Wolf moiety crests including (from the top down) an eagle, a wolf’s head, a bear’s head, and a wolf figure.
