In this circa 1851 illustration of Gwich’in men, their garments include a beaded tunic and moccasin pants. The man on the right carries a gun in a case over his shoulder and shooting accessories on his belt including a horn for gun powder (left) and a pouch (right). The man on the right holds a bow and carries a quiver and knife with a double-spiral hilt at his side.
