Chuna McIntyre

Chuna McIntyre

Chuna McIntyre was born in Eek. His grandmother taught him traditional Yup’ik songs, dances and stories. He later founded and was the Director of the Nunamta Yup’ik Eskimo Singers and Dancers, which are well-renowned and have traveled the world. He is also an accomplished graphic designer and craftsman. He also served as a conservation advisor for the Sharing Our Knowledge project. [Last updated in 2013]
