Daria Dirks

Daria Dirks, Unangan (Aleut), lives on St. Paul Island and was the Project Director for the Tanadgusix (TDX) Foundation Oral History and Museum Project. Her father Andre Rukovishnikoff was from Unalaska, and her mother Florence Krukoff was from Makushin. She was raised by her grandfather John Krukoff, from St. Paul Island, and by her grandmother Doris Krukoff from Biorka Island, a well-known basket weaver.
