Elaine Kingeekuk

Elaine Kingeekuk was born in Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island and now resides in Anchorage. Mrs. Kingeekuk is a doll maker and skin sewer, working with materials such as polar bear skin, seal gut, and seal skin. She was an advisor on the Living our Culture: Sharing our Culture project and helped mend the ceremonial gut parka (123404.000).
