Shirley David-Jimerson

Shirley David-Jimerson

Shirley Jimerson was born in the village of Tetlin and is Upper Tanana Athabascan of the Naltsiin clan. She was taught how to do beadwork as a girl and is today an artist. She is also a storyteller, writer, and has worked as a language teacher at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. She was also a conservation advisor for the Sharing Our Knowledge project.
